I don't know where to start with how incredible my experience with Stephanie was. From the moment I walked in to her studio I clicked with her and I knew she had to be the one to make my perfect dress! I was worried that it would be over my budget but we worked to what I wanted and it was actually a considerable amount cheaper than having an 'off the rail' dress. Steph worked with me through the whole process of deciding my likes/dislikes until we finally had the most amazing Cinderella dress.
I couldn't recommend this beautiful lady more, for not only being my dress maker but becoming a dear friend over the past year and literally being there for anything I needed, even if it was something absolutely ridiculous! Thank you so much my lovely! Xxx

Shop bought Vs Uniquely Handmade
*Planning*
When I first got engaged I didn’t really have any thoughts about what I wanted to get married in. I went to the boutiques and I tried on (what felt like). I built a Pinterest Board of the best bits of the dresses I saw, and I then saw how unrealistic it was that I would ever find it in a shop. Sleeves, but no lace, full skirt, but with a slit, backless but full front, sheer, yet with a bodice. Nobody made this dress.
I went to Steph as my friend and we had a chat about what I wanted, and as I spoke she was scribbling away on her little clipboard. At the end of the meeting, she turned the board around and I saw the dress. I loved it.
*Construction*
After the first meeting, Steph sent me different ideas for fabrics. I got to choose every detail, from the top beaded fabric, to the satin, and the buttons. I had fittings as often or as little as I wanted. It was difficult as I live in London, but she always worked to my availability which made things so easy.
I’m not going to lie, I was a nightmare. Each fitting I would find something I wanted to change (not because of anything that Steph had done, but because I absolutely did not look like the Pinterest models in the photographs when I tried it on) and Steph would cheerfully appease me, and change it, even if it meant pulling the dress apart at the seams and redoing it, she never complained or charged any extra.
*The Finish*
I’m such a hard person to please but it was absolutely perfect. She made my veil (the longest veil I’ve ever seen) and charged much less than I have seen online. She also made my garter which matched my bridesmaid dresses, and my train had our married name and date embroidered into it!💜💙
My experience of making my wedding dress was everything it should be and so much more. Steph was patient and kind throughout the process. My friends and family said how beautiful the dress is and how much it reflected me and my tastes.
She made my flower girl tutu to match my uniquely altered bridesmaids dresses she altered!
In conclusion, I suppose I’m saying, absolutely go to the all the boutiques and drink the free bubbles when you are trying on 15 dresses and being clipped into each sample size, but ultimately don’t be disheartened when they aren’t perfect, take each of the bits you love, and build your own perfect dress with Steph

Working with Steph on my wedding dress was an absolute delight. I came to Steph with a few ideas of which I could not choose between, Stephs reply was quite simply 'Darling you dont have too!' And from there we created the dress of my dreams. Nothing phased Steph which was exactly what I needed from a dress designer, someone with as much enthusiasm as me, who would support my ideas.
Steph fully supported my choice to have a full vegan wedding dress, she made sure all of my fabrics were not derived from animals including no silk. From the designing to the fittings we had so much fun. I would recommend Steph to any one wanting to create their own dress, she makes you feel so special and is so easy to communicate openly and honestly with.

The hunt for my wedding dress started off being the most stressful, daunting task I think I'd ever faced. Needless to say after our first meeting all of those doubts were well out of my head!

Amazing lady with the most infectious enthusiasm. You meet her as a stranger and leave her feeling like a friend. Nothing is too much trouble or effort for her and she makes you feel like you are the only bride she is working with when I know she has plenty on the go.
If you want to feel like a million dollars in a bespoke bridal gown then this beautiful woman is the one for the job. Cannot recommend enough

After spending hours looking through bridal magazines and searching the internet for dress ideas I just couldn't see anything I loved.
After my first appointment with Steph I knew she was the person who was going to create my dream dress. After showing a few pictures of different dresses that I liked we managed to come up with something that had everything I wanted and was truly unique.
I loved watching my dress come together and was overwhelmed with the end result. Steph is a very talented lady with a fantastic warm personality which makes you feel very special and at ease as soon as you meet her.
